At Okie Dockie, we believe the environment is the children’s third teacher; therefore, we developed a space that is safe, educational, and intentional. Because the health of our children is of utmost importance to us, we installed solid wood flooring and used zero-VOC paint to create the safest environment possible.
Additionally, our indoor and outdoor classroom have been designed with enough provocation to fuel the children’s worlds and minds. The classroom is bright and airy and encompasses various centers, such as: a reading nook, dramatic play area, block area, manipulative area, art area, and a common meeting space which is the heart of the school. Our playground, exhibits a beautiful play house made of repurpose wood, different plants, guava and lime trees, and a variety of purposeful outdoor play equipment.
